Red Oak Farmhouse Table

This is one of my latest projects at home.  This is our new dining room table that I built during the month of May.  Leslie found a plan for a farmhouse style table on Pinterest (and I must give credit where credit is due; you can find the original plans here).  The table dimensions for our table were different from those in the plans and I made ours out of solid red oak instead of pine.  I bought rough cut lumber and finished the wood myself.  If you are interested in more information, let me know.  And if there is enough interest I will explain in detail how I built the table and the differences between ours and the table in the plans linked above.  Enjoy!

Update

Hello all.  Once again I was surprised when I clicked on my own blog and found yet another year has nearly gone by since my last update.  This past year has been a whirl wind.  From engagement, marriage, moving and getting settled in our new home, this past year has been busy.  We are loving our new home in the foothills of the Rockies, just west of Denver and are enjoying this season of life as newlyweds.  It's hard to believe we have been married for almost six months now, where has the time gone?  Don't hesitate to send an email or post a message on the blog, we always enjoy hearing from you.
