Early this morning we arrived in Munich, Germany to beautiful weather and warm sunshine. The day has been spent seeing the sights in Munich and fighting the urge to sleep. I will post some pictures soon.

2 weeks...
We are down to the last two weeks before our trip. Besides the last minute immunizations and packing, we are ready to go. Visas are in order and tickets are in hand. Our trip will start in Philadelphia, PA where Leslie and I will meet (I've been out of the country already for the last month). Our first stop will be Munich, Germany. From Munich we will travel south, spending most of the week in Bavaria with a short trip across the border into Austria. The week will finish where we started, in Munich. From Germany we will continue into the Orient; yet another stop in our journey around the world.

Around The World in 30 Days
If a pilot and a teacher had an entire month to themselves, what could they do? They could stay at home and enjoy the mountains. He could fly fish and she could run many miles of mountain trails. They could enjoy city life in Denver and eat Pho Ga every evening. Or, they could take a trip around the world.
On June 29, 2012 Leslie and I will embark on an adventure, an adventure spanning six countries and four continents. We will experience winter and summer and cover over 23,000 mile, all in just 30 days. This trip was initially intended as our honeymoon, but due to the lack of time in December we have decided to take the trip now. Although spending the summer in Colorado is nearly as exciting at traveling the world (I am being completely truthful, we truly love Colorado that much), we decided we may not have this opportunity again for a long time.
"Where are we going?" you might ask. We are not telling you...yet. Throughout the trip we will blog about our experiences. You can join us by checking for updates* to read and experience our journey through this blog.
*Due to internet connectivity in some countries, blog posts may be limited for a few days (two countries in particular).
