Day 2 in Munchen, Germany

Today was our first full day in Germany.  This morning we went to the Dachau concentration camp just outside of Munich.  It was saddening to read the stories of how so many innocent people lost their lives.  Although these places commemorate the lives lost during an important part of our world's history, it is nonetheless a period of time many in Germany would like to forget.
We then visited the Olympic Park where the 1972 Olympics were held.  For those who remember these games, this too was a stark reminder of the evil that exists in world.  Eleven Israeli athletes were killed at these games in a hostage situation at the Olympic dormitory.
A beautiful day, with my incredible wife, in a fascinating country.
